Portfolio
The process
The first thing I did was make a list of everything I wanted to include on my website and the content that would go on it. Then I created my own wireframe before looking for inspiration.
My inspirations
It was hard for me to figure out what I wanted to do for my portfolio. I wanted something I really loved, not just a design that would appeal to everyone. Otherwise, how would anyone know who I am if I don’t even like it myself?
The design
This isn't my first design; two completely different ones were supposed to have been created. But I realized I really didn't like them. Now I'm glad I was able to find something that suits me, even though it took several versions before I found the right one!
The production
It’s all well and good to create a design, but now it’s time to get down to business and bring it to life! Once I figured out how WordPress works, I learned, step by step, how to create my different pages and their content. Then I added the CSS and all the bells and whistles I wanted. And finally, I polished up the details.
The result
After a lot of trial and error and research, I finally got what I wanted—something that was just right for me!
